Awards?

I really don't care about any awards.

I know what I like when it comes to movies, so whether it wins an Oscar or not doesn't matter to me. I'm not going to see Brokeback Mountain because it won Best Adaptive Screenplay. And I don't think I'm interested in Crash either.

Oscars, Golden Globes, you name it. Just meaningless TV. Same goes for music awards also. Sure, I'll watch the Grammys, but that's just so I can check on my current favorite bands. The award itself is worthless. After last year's winners, I'm almost certain I could win a Grammy if I spent an hour or two on it. The MTV awards, both music and video, are entertaining. But it's a popularity contest. Most don't look for creativity, or originality. If it has a 'dope beat' and some 'booty butt' in the video, it'll win.

School has sucked lately. My Intro to PERL class is terrible. Thankfully, it's over this Thursday. But the guy who teaches it sucks. A project was due Friday before midnight. As the grader and teacher, he should be aware that emails would be flooding his inbox as the deadline approached. I sent one such email at 7:55PM. That's actually a bit early. Guess when I got a reply? How about, NEVER! So much crap. I think I'm going to drop the course. The one question I had was vital to my project, and I never got an answer. He's going to get a bad review.

Ugh, I'm really stressed out now. That Friday night took away most of my patience. It's gotten to the point where I bite my tongue in my sleep. It's making me talk funny.

I still have no plans for Spring Break. So far, it's all about going home and relaxing. Maybe schedule some appointments and a lunch or two. That's about it.

Some people suck. Only some.

Either way, I'm going to go to bed in about 2 hours, so I'm going to lay around for a little bit.
