So yea, things are going well for Mavs fans. We're up 2 to 1, and if we would have taken care of the ball in game 1, we would be up 3 to nothing. Win game 4, and this series is done.
And yea, Miami is going to win their series. I've been saying for a while now that Detroit is a bit overrated. Their crazy record is inflated by the fact that they play in the Eastern Conference. And of course they were going to wear out as the playoffs went further. They only have 6 quality players. Even so, I didn't expect Miami to be this good. D-Wade is killer. Still, just lambs for the slaughter once the real Finals start.
I cleaned up my room and went through the boxes in my closet. I found some interesting stuff, but most of it was just old.
The funniest thing I found was something I had written during one of my classes. I was in that phase when I was looking for approval, acceptance, validation, etc.

Never move backwards,
Don't just try,
You have to be the best.
But, what would I put for the "FBomb" in front if it now?
Forget the past,
Be realistic,
Only think about yourself,
Make it possible,
Believe.
Either way. I need to wake up early for a change.

Can I say I told you so yet? Miami is the real deal, even after last night. Miami-Dallas final, nice. And you know I'll be routing for Big D, but I think Miami wins. Miami-Dallas will be the best Finals series 1998. The Spurs beat NY in 1999 - Not a great series. LA-Indiana in 2000, and we all knew who would win that. Same goes for the next two years - LA vs. Philly and NJ. And the next year SA-NJ was also a given. 2004 was a shock, but not a good series ... and well 2005 was a good series I guess, but it won't be as fun to watch as 1998 was and 2006 will be if it's Miami-Dallas.
