Getting Closer

This is the week. I'm finally moving to a nice place. Indoor basketball court and all.

I went to Fry's on Friday. I played Guitar Hero for the first time. Wow. I'm already addicted. In fact, I'm hoping to buy it tomorrow, or at the latest this weekend. Franz Ferdinand, Queens of the Stone Age, and Audioslave have songs on the game. I'm sold.

I skipped 3 classes last week, just so I could practice my French Horn. I think I'm going to pay for it later.

I'm probably going to skip the rest of my CS 105 classes. It's an intro to PERL and it's really easy. We had our first assignment due earlier today, and it didn't take me long. All of the lecture slides are on the class web site. What's the point?

I'm worried most about CS 341 and CS 352. CS 341 is heavily math-related. That's not good for me. Also, because it's early (11AM, ha) I usually end up falling asleep in class. CS 352 is ok right now, but a big group project is about to start, and I don't work well with others. Even if it's a big enough project for 4 people, I'd rather do it by myself.

Crap. Am I forgetting someone's birthday? I just checked the ol' blog and I didn't find anything. Tomorrow is V-day. I think I'll stay home, maybe put on some Ticket stuff and just laugh for a while. I'll send out some e-cards to my favorite ladies. Maybe a text message or two. I don't know.

And then the day after is someone's birthday, but I won't touch that with a 10-foot pole.

And with that last sentence, I'm out.
