So, a bunch of scientists can walk around with their lab coats and pocket protectors, suddenly decide that something needs to change, and then tell you that what you've known for 22 years is wrong?
For some, it's longer than 22 years. No matter how long you've considered Pluto as a planet, it still sucks.
What does it matter, really? Will this change the laws of physics? Are we going to have to find another planet to live on? And Mickey Mouse's dog. What about that?
If an asteroid or whatever crashed into Earth tomorrow, at least those stupid astronomers could say, "Well, at least we got it right with Pluto."
Trivial, at best.
