UT Libraries vs. FBombAndy II

On Wednesday I went to the library to talk with one of the supervisors.

I ended up talking to Steve* and everything was very respectful. He didn't raise his voice and he listened to every word I said. About 5 minutes into the conversation, Claudia, who was rude the first time I tried to solve the issue, started to make things not so nice.

Steve was nice enough to say that he would personally search for the book in his library and other libraries on campus. Claudia decides to open her mouth and suggest that looking for the book is my responsibility. Luckily, Steve really didn't pay any attention to her.

I did tell him my version of what happened, and he said that if things aren't resolved, there will be a compromise in place. Honestly, if nothing turns up and we go to an appeals committee, I'm fine with whatever decision they make. If they say that I have to get a replacement, I'll just take care of it and never check out books from a library again. If the ruling goes in my favor, then I'll believe that the system actually works.

I'm supposed to talk to Steve tomorrow to see if anything was found. From there, I'll decide what the next step is.

*name changed.
